We’re entering the depths of winter, the credit cards are maxed out and the Christmas and NYE celebrations are well and truly behind us. What now? All doom and gloom in the UK’s capital? I think not. Ice Skating In January In London
If you haven’t already, you just have to give it a whirl. London has some of the most spectacular temporary ice skating rinks in Europe. Hyde Park, Sommeset House, The Natural History Museum and The Tower of London all build rinks for you to enjoy. You’re best off to book ahead and for those unacquainted, don’t worry, you’ll pick it up in no time!
Photography Exhibitions in London in January
The photography exhibitions in London are cool and they’re always fun to visit in January when the weather is typically cold, wet and rainy. There are loads going on so you might have use doctor google to help you out, but here are a few to get you started:

London International Mime Festival
The LIMF is 18 days of varied and amazing acts. Circus, Illusion puppetry and theatre. This year there will be more than 15 productions from all around the world. Check it out -> LIMF
London Ice Sculpting Festival
For 3 days in Jubilee Park, Montgomery Square and the Wood Wharf the incredible London Ice Sculpting Festival will take place. Generally the most popular event is the master class:
- Friday: 11am – 3pm
- Saturday: 10am – 6pm
- Sunday: 11am – 4pm
